Biography

Starting her professional career as an Accountant in 2002, was a great start to the dream of running her own business. Working for KPMG, IKEA and many other firms and companies. Then after years of back problems she found sitting a difficult and painful part of her job. This is when she started pilates in 2006 and hasn’t looked back since. In 2008 she qualified as a Studio Rehabilitation Pilates Instructor and Master Personal Trainer and started her first business Physique Pilates Adelaide Studio in the Adelaide CBD.

She wanted to enhance her skills and finished her Masters of Physiotherapy(graduate entry) at Uni SA in 2012, sold the successful Physique Pilates Adelaide Studio in July 2015 and has now rebranded the Corporate side of the business as Benefit Corporate Health. The business now focuses on Adelaide corporate pilates, yoga, wellness and injury prevention.

Charlotte and her team enjoy being able to help people help themselves feel better and help business’ motivate and look after their employees! Our aim is to get people Moving Better, Feeling Better and Performing Better, via Adelaide corporate pilates, yoga, wellness and injury prevention programs.

Biography

Sophie grew up in the South East of SA but decided to start her Physio career working in public health in Queensland.  After 2 years of the beach, she then travelled around Europe and working in the UK for 2 years.
On returning to Adelaide in 2012, she worked in Private practice before discovering her passion for rehabilitation with Pilates. Sophie enjoys using her musculoskeletal knowledge and DMA Pilates qualification to help you become stronger and happier in your body.

Biography

Kate started pilates over 12 years ago as a result of continued back pain and has been teaching for over 7 years. She fell in love with the method due to the results she achieved and believed in it so much that she wanted to immerse herself further by becoming a teacher she is qualified to teach in both Mat and Studio. Her qualifications include a Polestar Diploma of Pilates, Cert III in Fitness, Senior First Aid Certificate and a Bachelor of International Business. She is a mother to 3 children and enjoys horseriding and playing Netball. She has taught a wide range of clients including specialised classes to Ballet Dancers, Gymnasts and Seniors.

Biography

Becky started Pilates as a dancer to get stronger to recover from injuries and keep up with practice schedules. As well as being a pilates instructor she is also a personal trainer and loves working people hard, especially squats! She currently runs our northern suburbs sessions and is a much loved instructor due to the individual attention and creative sessions she gives clients.

Biography

Ingrid embraced Pilates after having her two children to gain flexibility and strength first as a participant then soon after as an instructor teaching mat and equipment classes. Ingrid is fully qualified with Certificate IV through Polestar Pilates which provides the most comprehensive Pilates rehabilitation and fitness curriculum and certification in the world today.

Biography

Monica is an APMA Level 2 Pilates instructor who has been teaching pilates since she obtained her full qualification in 2005.  After relocating from Sydney , Monica has taught in many locations around Adelaide, including Pilates studios, fitness centres, physiotherapy clinics and in the corporate health environment.

Biography

Millie has been involved in the health and fitness industry since 2003. Running fitness franchises on beautiful beaches & developing corporate wellbeing programs in Sydney for over 10 years, she developed a lifelong passion for helping others achieve active and healthy lifestyles.

Millie is a 4-time Australian Ironman finisher, has raced 6 x 100km ultra-marathons & last year won the Kangaroo Island triathlon. She has presented on the Morning show, trained movie stars & taught Yoga in Thailand, but her new passion is standup-paddleboarding the coastline between Adelaide to Victor Harbour in South Australia.

She teaches pilates, pump, spin, fitball, roll & release, boxing, aqua, vinyasa & yin yoga and her passion is to help others stay healthy in body & mind for the duration of their active lives.
