So you don’t like and have trouble fitting in exercise into you day…..
Sitting is the new smoking and adding incidental walks into your day is the best way to reduce being sedentary! As opposed to finding the time to fit a 30 minute walk some time in your day, you can get 30 minutes in easily by following these few tips….

- Get off the Bus – Try getting off the bus/train one stop early on your way home or on your way to work, or both! If you drive park further away, to extend your walk to work. Give your self the time to get moving and feel better!
- Reduce your Technology! Get up and walk over to your workmates desk and discuss what you have to say instead of emailing or calling. Adding an extra walk into your day!
- Food on the Move! Walk somewhere to get your lunch or if you bring your lunch, walk outside and find a place to sit and eat! Avoid sitting at your desk, that time away from your desk will help refresh you and make you more productive.
- Recycle, rubbish and run! Instead of having a bin under your desk, why not save the environment and your life, by setting up a central rubbish, recycling area at your work.
- Stop using the bottle…. Instead of having a bottle of water at your desk, have a glass of water at your desk and get up and fill your glass when you need, feel hydrated and healthier!

By adding these little bits of movement into your day, will help reduce your back and neck pain, will increase your productivity and help your heart and your waistline!
