The Secret to De-stressing by Organising your To-Do List

Procrastinating?

Missed Pilates again?

Don’t know where to start?

You have got to work, made a coffee, checked your facebook, read through your emails and now you have to start working for the day…..feeling a bit daunted? Do you end up procrastinating doing an easy task, instead of getting important work started? Then get so behind that you miss pilates/yoga or other ‘you time’ activities?

Here are some top tips to get into that difficult, important bit of work, as you know it doesn’t actually take that long, once you start!

  1. Write your list! Get everything done that has to be done today and the next few days if relevant.
  2. Draw a Box, with 4 squares, top left is important and urgent, top right is urgent but not important, bottom left important but not urgent and bottom right is not urgent and not important
  1. Start small-Go to your Import/Urgent list and choose the smallest or quickest item, you have now started achieving and will be on your way to a productive day in no time!
  2. Finish your To-Do List, some people feel like they never get things done as they transfer items from one to-do list to another, therefore never feeling like they finished a list!
  3. STOP and appreciate that you have got some ‘stuff done’ and you are getting there and achieving things.
  4. Go to Pilates/Yoga! With all this free time from being organised you have time to get to Pilates or Yoga! Why not organise a lunch class at your workplace?
